Your personal details will not be passed on or sold to any other company in accordance with our company policy and the Data Protection Act.

PRICING

All prices on our website include any VAT payable but exclude delivery charges. On occasions we may have promotional offers. Delivery charges are added to your basket when items are added. We reserve the right to adjust prices, offers, goods and specifications of goods on colouredglass.co.uk at our discretion at any time.

ORDERING TERMS

Your order may be changed at any time up until payment is received as the manufacturing process will then begin. If you do need to make a amendment to your order we can charge £20 to change this. You should be aware that with all toughened glass products, there is a 2mm tolerance each side and top and bottom. If you have carefully followed our measuring guide this should not be an issue but should your glass not fit due to this reason we cannot be held accountable.

All our Coloured glass splashbacks are made by back spraying glass, in specifically manufactured coloured glass paint. If you intend to place a repeat order you should be aware that there may be a slight colour difference, for this reason we cannot guarantee that the colour will be the same. In these circumstances you should inform us before you order that you wish to match to a previous order and we can try to work with you to do that.

Please note that the colours displayed on our colour picker, website are only to be used as a guide. We do not use domestic household paint as these paints are not suitable for glass. We mix our own paint as close as we can get to their formula, so should you wish to be sure of the colour of the glass you will receive, it is strongly advisable to order a sample as we cannot guarantee that our paint will match other paint manufacturers. Please be careful when picking colours from a PC as all PC and tablets colours my look different to the actual colour.

Please confirm via email if you wish for us to deduct for socket sizes. You must email us within 12 hours if deductions need to be made for socket sizes.

If you wish to cancel your order within 12 hours you must do so in writing to our email address. A 25 percent deduction will be taken for glass wastage and processing fees as all orders are started instantly.

Discount codes cannot be applied after your order has been placed

Please note that, due to the bespoke nature of the product, on occasion there can be a delay arising from a quality issue or other unforeseen circumstances. We are unable to consider any claims of compensation for any such delays. if this happens we will do our best to keep the delay to a minimum. We will email you through tracking details as soon as it is ready to dispatch.

Due to the bespoke nature of our products, orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun or an image has been approved. In instances where goods arrive faulty or damaged, we will decide on a resolution (full refund/ partial refund/ remake item) on a case by case basis

**Please note that if delivery is missed we will not be liable for any damage or breakage caused to the parcel by the courier. It is therefore in your best interest to make sure that someone can receive delivery – the panels are toughened glass but are still easily damaged.

**Also note that once the parcel leaves ourselves you will be responsible for taking delivery of the parcel – if you have not received it within 3 days we would advise you call your local depot and check. If the courier attempts delivery and there is no-one home they will only hold it for a few days before returning the parcel to us – we would then have to charge a re-delivery fee to get the panel back to you. We will cover the safe delivery of the parcel to you up until the first delivery attempt.

Once the courier has attempted the first delivery to you, we will no longer be liable for any damages that may occur to the parcel whilst in the hands of the courier.

COLOUR MATCHING SERVICE

Please be aware if you’re matching a colour to your wall that the splashback colour may vary in colour to your wall.

PROVIDING YOUR OWN TEMPLATES

Should you wish to send us your own plywood templates please do so to the address found on your order confirmation. We will make your glass to the exact size and shape of your templates to an accuracy of 2mm. Please note that should you choose to send us your own templates you do so at your own risk, we will not be held liable for loss or damage of your templates in the factory or be held liable for any associated costs you may have incurred in getting your templates manufactured. The customer will also have to cover the delivery charges.

DISTANCE SELLING REGULATIONS

In accordance with the distance selling regulations, your orders may not be cancelled once payment is received for the supply of goods made to the consumer’s own specification and measurements. However we reserve the right to make this decision as we may be able to issue a refund if the manufacturing process has not began (as mentioned above)

DELIVERY

Delivery prices quoted are mainland UK mainland only. However the following places incur additional delivery charges, N Ireland, Eire, Scottish Highlands and Offshore Islands. If a order is placed within these areas we will be in touch to quote an additional charge.We will contact you at least two days before your order is due for delivery and therefore if your order is placed on delivery and your unable to receive it we have the right to charge you to redeliver the parcel. If your parcel is placed on a Direct Glass Online van we won’t package your parcel as we would if it was placed on a courier service as we are trained on how to handle and protect glass and this then reduces package waste.

The lead time of working days doesn’t include bank holiday’s and the Christmas Break up of the 18th to the 4th of January.

All panels currently have an estimated lead time of 2-4 weeks.

PAYMENT

The total cost of your order including delivery will be detailed in your invoice. Payment may be made using Credit Debit cards, PayPal’s secure online payment service. We don’t accept American Express.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS POLICY

We use a nationwide delivery service, throughout the mainland. Please check your parcel for any visible signs of damage to the packaging of your order before signing for the delivery. Any items damaged in transit should be noted at time of delivery; if possible delivery should be refused and returned to us. Where no visible signs of damage is apparent, upon opening should any defect be apparent please contact us with the nature of the defect and if possible take a suitable photograph and email it to us. Please don’t discard the packaging, we will ask you to repackage and we will arrange collection. We reserve the right to repair any defects. If the glass has been fitted we are unable to offer any refund, replacement or compensation. If the splashbacks do not fit we cannot issue you a refund if the measurements match the measurements on your invoice, so please check your order prior to completing payment.

If any order is damaged during production or in transit we reserve the right to repair or replace the panel(s) rather than cancelling and refunding your purchase (due to the high cost of initially manufacturing the product).

Customers must make us aware within 24 hours if any parcel is damaged.

Please ensure that you have thoroughly checked your order before signing for it. Once signed for any claims made by you will be validated at our discretion and need to be raised with 24 hours of receipt. Where you have asked us to leave your order in a safe place at your premises or with a friend or neighbour, you do so at your own risk. We recommend that you have the friend or neighbour check your order on your behalf.

This Agreement documents the legally binding terms and conditions attached to the use of the website(s) colouredglass.co.uk, colouredsplashbacks.co.uk and wipeboards.co.uk and any purchases made through the said websites.

The website(s) have been designed as a retail and trade informational environment, through which glass Splashbacks glass Wipeboards and other related coloured glass products may be purchased, information on our products and services can be accessed and enquiries can be made, through each website or contacting us.

Specialist Coatings North West Ltd. is governed by the laws and Jurisdiction of England and Wales.

. reserves the right to change or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Should you have agreed to a previous version of these Terms & Conditions, you will be notified of the changes that have been made.

By using or accessing the website in any way, or by viewing or browsing the website, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Our online stores can only accept orders from and deliver to UK Mainland and Northern Ireland addresses. You will be able to review and amend your order in your shopping basket, and at checkout prior to submitting your order. Your order is accepted by us once payment has been received by us. We will confirm receipt of your order by sending an email to you using the email address you supplied when making your purchase.

We reserve the right to decline orders for bulk, high value or otherwise suspicious purchases. Every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the information contained within our websites. If for any reason we are unable to complete your order we will offer the nearest possible alternative or issue a full refund where payment has already been processed. The industry standard for CNC Machining and Glass cutting is +/- 2mm please do bear this in mind when placing orders. Colours displayed on our website and brochures are to be used as a guide only. Reproduction of colour online is as accurate as photographic and electronic processes allow.

The Coloured Glass Co Ltd can provide a glass paint that will provide an accurate colour match to most paint manufacturers shades. Should you wish to be assured of the colour match we recommend you Order a Sample.

We display colours from some popular “High Street” Brands – We do not use the branded paint, all our colours are colour matched to the relevant brand using a spectrometer, we are not associated or an agent of any brand displayed on our website-If you require a colour that is not displayed on our website please contact us as it may be that we have previously colour matched it and will have the relevant formulation, if we have not matched the colour previously then we will ask you to send us a colour chip/card and we will match and send you a Free of Charge Colour sample. Should customers wish to send us their own templates or drawings to enable us to manufacture shaped glass they can do so by sending to the address on the contact us page. We will manufacture to the size and shape of the template subject to industry tolerances. We will contact you if there are any other manufacture limitations that prevent us replicating the template.

Customers sending templates to us are at their own risk. We will not be held responsible for loss or damage of the template or be held liable for any associated costs the customer incurs producing or sending the template/s. Templates will only be returned at customers request and cost. We can deliver to addresses within mainland UK and Northern Ireland . Delivery charges are included in the price shown in your basket. In certain circumstances due to oversize, and/or over weight, and/or location additional charges may apply over and above those quoted. We will advise you if there are any additional charges when your order has been received by us for processing. In such circumstances you will not be bound to continue with your purchase and will be asked to email should you wish to proceed.

Please allow between 10 -15 business days for delivery of standard products. Goods are delivered using our own vehicles and couriers in remote areas. Saturday deliveries are available at an additional cost.

  • All deliveries should be signed for.
  • Where the customer instructs the courier to leave goods with a third party or in a safe place they do so at their own risk.
  • All goods are subject to rigorous quality checks before dispatch. Please check for any visible signs of damage before signing for goods.
  • If any goods appear damaged the customer must state this on the courier delivery document when signing.

All items must be unpacked and checked within 24hrs of receipt. For faults that are not apparent until packaging is opened we are unable to accept liability if goods are not checked and damages reported within this time frame. Any damages must be reported to The Coloured Glass Company by telephone on 0333 335 5036 and confirmed in writing via email to sales@colouredglass.co.uk We accept payment using most major credit/debit cards. Goods will only be dispatched once payment has been received by us in full. You may pay using the following Cards: Visa Debit, Visa Credit, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Maestro UK, Solo and JCB, we now Accept American Express

Payments are powered by Stripe. A 3rd Party Secure Payment Gateway. If you are Not happy with any aspect of our online service/support or if you have any queries or comments relating to an order please contact us, or telephone us 0333 335 5036 you can also write to us:- The Coloured Glass Co Ltd, Geoffrey Street, Bury, Greater Manchester BL9 6FT and we will do everything we can to help. If you purchase any product from us and you are not totally satisfied, due to poor quality or it is defective then we will accept and agree that you can return the goods to us – at no cost to yourself – We will then provide a full refund upon return of the goods.

Any return of goods must be agreed and authorised by us in writing before they can be accepted. Please report faults within 24hrs of delivery.

Goods MUST be returned to us in the wooden crate supplied, with all relevant paperwork, we can NOT accept goods for return if they have been fitted or part fitted or used.

Please note – You can not return goods because you have simply ordered the wrong colour/size or shape, these are bespoke products and under normal trading standards the return of bespoke items are “Non Returnable” we are confident of the high quality of our products. Goods can only be returned if you are not happy with the Quality or it is Defective.

No defects should be visible from a distance of 3 meters or over when the glass is in its final position.

Small defects in the glass that are visible within a distance less than 3 meters for example scratches, bubbles and specs in paint are considered normal in the glass industry.

The above guidance is in accordance with the Glass & Glazing Federation Code of Practice. The Coloured Glass Company will use reasonable endeavors to repair or replace free of charge, any coating which is found to be delaminating or discolouring within a period of five (10) years from the delivery date. This guarantee is subject to full payment for all products, charges, fees and reasonable notice by the customer of such fault. The customer must maintain and clean the product (s) in a proper manner. This guarantee excludes wilful damage and normal wear and tear.

An installation undertaken by us is valid for twelve (12) months from the installation date.

The guarantee only applies to the customer noted on the order form and is not transferable. This does not affect any Statutory Rights.
